Sony A550 Preview
Just Posted: Our hands-on preview of the Sony DSLR A550. The recently announced (and reviewed) A380 and its A330/A230 variants were not met with universal approval. With the launch of the DSLR-A500 and A550, the bigger picture starts to become clearer, with Sony producing five sub-$1000 DSLRs tailored to a variety of needs. The Alpha 5 series is much more clearly aimed at the photography enthusiast, so we have prepared a 10-page preview detailing its specifications, features and changes. Just Posted: Sony DSLR-A380 in-depth review
Just Posted: Our review of the Sony DSLR A380. This is our first review of one of Sony’s latest trio of entry-level DSLRs. Sony Alpha 900 DSLR Digital Camera Review
Sony claim to have cemented their place in the digital SLR market with the Alpha 900 and while they’ve got a long way to go before they take any serious stranglehold on the monopoly that in reality belongs to Canon and Nikon, it is fair to say that Sony have finally arrived with some serious ammunition on the back of the A900.

Just posted! Nikon 50mm F1.4G lens review
Just posted! Our lens review of the Nikon AF-S Nikkor 50mm F1.4G. This version replaces the AF-Nikkor 50mm F1.4D we reviewed last year, bringing entirely new optics and a built-in AF-S motor which allows autofocus on all of Nikon’s DSLRs. On its introduction Nikon hailed it as ‘redefining the standard lens concept’, so how well does it live up to these lofty claims?

Just posted! Hartblei 120mm F4 Macro TS lens review
Just posted! Our lens review of the Hartblei Superrotator 120mm F4 TS Macro. In this latest review we deviate from the beaten track and delve into the slightly esoteric world of tilt and shift optics, taking a look at the longest lens of its type currently available. Like the rest of Hartblei’s lenses, the 120mm F4 sports an ‘Optics by Carl Zeiss’ tag and is available in mounts for most DSLRs, but does it offer enough to justify the price tag?
